Satellite Tool & Machine Co.’s reputation for integrity is our most valuable asset and is directly related to the conduct of its officers and other employees. The company adheres to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable in our business. The company’s business is conducted in strict observance of both the letter and spirit of all applicable laws and the integrity of each employee is of utmost importance. Satellite Tool & Machine Co.’s Code of Conduct outlines standards to promote working conditions are safe, that employees are treated with respect and dignity, and that our manufacturing processes is performed to its upmost capabilities. Furthermore adopting these codes ensures that our business and all its activities operate in compliance with the laws, rules and regulations. Satellite Tool & Machine Co. ensures a safe and healthy work environment, refrain from the use of child or forced labor, provide the protection of the environment, minimization of waste, emissions, energy consumption and the use of materials of concern, refrain from engaging in corrupt practices(e.g. facilitation, offering or paying any bribe)
Health and Safety
Satellite Tool & Machine Co. strives to make a healthy and safe environment for all that are involved. Continually practicing and educating employees is key to identifying and solving any issues that may arise. Everyone working together we will recognize issues in our workplace and address before health concerns become an issue. Preventative maintenance will make the workplace proper and clean. Hazardous material are handled and disposed of properly. Any exposure to such hazardous material will remain controlled and safe at all times. If an emergency does arise employees are to follow procedures and evacuate if necessary with the training and drills that they were provided. If equipment needs to be used they are to handle with safety and take all precautions. Any injuries or illnesses are to be reported, tracked and treated immediately. Medical treatment is always provided for the employees’ safety and well being. All safe guards are provided and should be used by employees to ensure their safety.
Labor
All Human rights are always used for the rights of all workers and they are never bonded or involuntarily prison labor in our facility. Any sort of labor or child labor is never used at any stage in our manufacturing process. There is no harsh and inhumane treatment, including any harassment, punishment, mental or physical abuse or threat to of. Satellite Tool & Machine Co. does not participate in any forms of discrimination. Workweeks do not exceed any local laws. All workers are paid to comply with the law; including those relating to minimum wages; overtime hours and all have legally mandated benefits. Deductions from wages as disciplinary measures shall not be permitted. Each employee receives proper documentation on pay and receives in a timely manner.
Ethics
The opinions and attitudes that customers have toward our company may be determined for a long period of time by the actions of one employee and that is why all those that are employed by Satellite Tool & Machine Co. uphold the highest standard of ethics in order to achieve success and quality work. Courteous treatment is important in all working relationships. Distribution of any type (materials, goods, etc.) is prohibited in working areas at any time, whether or not the employees are on working time. Non-employees are prohibited from distributing materials to employees on company premises at any time. Bribes of any kind are not permitted at any time or any place. Any form of corruption or extortion is strictly prohibited and may result in termination. Customer information is to be held in the strictest confidence and used only in the performance of the job duties or for legitimate company purposes. If there are any wrong doings all are encouraged to report anonymously such information to the FAA or the DOD hotline and will be held confidential. This includes business activities, structure and financial situations.
